Keep the moments

The duel you won by a hair, the cart that ended up in the river, the horse with a mind of its own: Medal keeps them, and you never had to press record.

    Get Medal. It is free and runs on Windows, next to the game.

    Play KCD:MP as you always do. Medal records Kingdom Come: Deliverance II like any other game; there is nothing to set up in KCD:MP.

    Press F8 when it is worth keeping. Trim the clip in Medal and share it in one click. The best ones belong on our Discord, too.

Auto-clipping

The server saves the moment for you: when something happens in the game, Medal keeps the clip without a key pressed. It starts simple, with a 30-second clip when a player dies, and a game mode can fire its own events on top: a duel won, a tournament, an ambush, anything its script can see.

It works only in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and only for players who run Medal.

Medal Quests

Servers will be able to run quests inside Medal: play on the server, clip what happens there, and earn a reward on that server, such as gear, coin, a title or a cosmetic.

It may come sooner than November.

Questions

Do I need Medal to play?
No. KCD:MP plays the same without it, and any recorder you like makes clips. Auto-clipping will need Medal, since Medal is what saves the clip.
Does it work on every server?
Yes. Medal records the game itself, so F8 works on every KCD:MP server, whatever its game mode.
Does KCD:MP record anything?
No. Medal does the recording, on your own PC, and only once you have installed it. Auto-clipping will only tell your Medal when to save.
